1916 Steinway Model A3 grand piano, serial number 181xxx.  6' 4.5" long.  Professionally restored and refinished about 15 years ago.  Work performed by my father, Leonard Gustafson who was a piano technician in the Memphis, TN area for about 30 years.  He rebuilt this as his personal piano.  New pinblock, strings, tuning pins, hammers, shanks, wippens and much more.  Original ivory keytops - all but about 7 are original to the piano.  Those 7 were chipped so they were replaced with similar.  Refinished with a closed pore finish in a hand rubbed lacquer finish.  All hardware replated in nickel as original.
